Reminder - No Dancing Tonight
24 04 2008- Next Dance - Thursday, May 1, 2008
Just a reminder, there is no dancing this evening, April 24, 2008, at the Polish Club in South Hadley, MA. We will be back to our normal schedule next week, May 1, 2008. Be sure to remind your dancing friends. We’d hate to have people showing up expecting to dance and walking away with a brand new power saw but, I suppose that might make some people happy. If you haven’t heard, there is a traveling Hardware/Tool Show setup at the club this week, which is why we are not dancing tonight.
If next week is too long to wait for your usual dance fix, well, there is plenty of dancing throughout the region.
- Tonight, you can always make the quick drive to the Dance Ranch and Saloon in Worcester, MA. It is on the outskirts of town, making for a really easy drive and plenty of free parking. Check out http://www.danceranchandsaloon
.com for more info. - Friday Night, as always, there is dancing at the AM/Vets Post 112 in Chicopee, MA. Check out http://www.oneeyedparrot.org/ for more info.
- Sunday & Monday Nights dance with Millie and the Gang in nearby East Winsdor or Windsor Locks, CT. Sunday Nights are a blast!!!! Click Here for more info!
- Wednesday Nights at the Moose Club in Greenfield, MA with Cathy Fanizzi! 20 School Street, Greenfield, MA. You’ll see a few familiar faces at the Moose, including Todd and Staci!!!
- Tuesday, the wonderful Nancy Rule and The Sweetheart Dancers are making it happen in Sunderland, MA. Contact sweetheartdancers@comcast.net for more info!

Also, just a quick look ahead, don’t forget the Make-a-Wish Fundraiser Dance coming up on May 3rd, 2008.

The judging, the scoring, the placement, and the prizes are all well and good but, what gives choreography comps meaning is the opportunity for choreographers to introduce their latest works to a captive audience. One that will likely share their favorite entries with fellow dancers across the country or across the ocean. With that said, we are pleased to announce that the latest works by our very own Todd Lescarbeau were well received by the judges and the audience. It wasn’t luck, but genius, that allowed Todd to place with all three of his entries!!! He took 2nd and 3rd in the ABC Division with Ooh-Ooh Baby and Color My World, respectively, and finished 1st in the Non-Country, Intermediate/Advanced Division with Tap Dat! Congratulations Todd!!!
