New Friends!Last week The Dance Collaborative celebrated its’ biggest night yet with 67 Dancers in attendance. It was a fantastic turn out for both dinner and dancing despite the weekly weather concerns we’ve come accustomed to dealing with this winter! We are Thankful for everyone who helped provide a warm welcome for our very first guest instructor, the wonderful Sarah Preston!!! Sarah was quite impressed with our spirited and diverse group of dancers and wanted me to thank everyone for a very fun night. She hopes you enjoyed her lessons and she’s looking forward to coming back real soon.

Like the rest of us, Sarah enjoys being around the wonderful people who make dancing all that it is. Sarah plays a large part in the regional line dance community through her own ventures and the support she lends to groups like The Dance Collaborative. As always, we encourage all of you to get out and dance!!! We love seeing you on Thursday nights, but there is so much great dancing to enjoy throughout the week!!! For those of you who missed Sarah, we’ll be sure to have her back real soon. Until then, you can check out her website at http://jUsTdAnCiNaRoUnD.cOm.

This week, we’ll slow things down a bit with a few quick reviews of dances that have been taught over the last several weeks, including last week’s lessons, How Long and Charanga. After that, we’ll enjoy a full-night of dancing!!! So come on out and be part of The Dance Collaborative!!!

    • Welcome Sarah Preston - Guest Instructor

Sarah Preston We have a great Thursday night on tap for this week. First and foremost, The Dance Collaborative is happy to host it’s first guest instructor. We are proud to welcome one of the region’s most well-known instructors and one of the best promoters of dance you’ll ever meet. Sarah Preston has been instructing Line Dance throughout New England for many years by offering weekly classes, monthly dances, and Workshops throughout the year. She also plays a pivotal roll in ensuring the successful execution of national dance events like the Line Dance Showdown in nearby Framingham, MA and the Florida Masters held every year in Orlando, Florida. Sarah’s passion and dedication is fueled by her genuine love for Dancing and Dancers. Because of Sarah’ s hard work, many people have come to share in the World of Line Dancing.

We are looking forward to introducing Sarah to many of you this coming Thursday. We are so Thankful she accepted our invitation to come teach. It is fitting that Sarah is our first guest instructor. Without a doubt, Sarah has worked hard for many years in helping to “Secure, Promote, and Enhance the Community of Dance!”. She is a great instructor and an even better person. We hope you won’t miss out on this great opportunity. Sarah will be offering both a beginner and intermediate lesson which everyone is sure to enjoy. As usual, lessons will start around 7:30.
