Spring!Hello Dancers! Hopefully everyone has been getting their fill of the wonderful weather we’ve been enjoying all this week! It sure has been great! The only thing that could trump the great weather would be a jam-packed dance floor again this Thursday! Even better news is that starting next Monday, March 30, 2009, Todd and Staci will resume their Beginner Nights at the Polish Club! Todd and Staci offer the newbie dancer a fantastic introduction to basic foot work and the fundamental techniques of body movement, style, and rhythm! But, don’t let that scare away, this is for anyone and everyone who has ever wanted to dance! There will be a published schedule including dances that will be taught! Participants will learn something new every class! Best of all, after the very first week, new dancers will be able to join in the fun on Thursday nights or any boot-scoot, honky-tonk, or dance floor you might come across!! If you’ve always wanted to learn to dance, don’t miss this great opportunity to learn from a couple of very experienced Instructors and a Champion Choreographer! Most Importantly, don’t miss the fun!!! Please help spread the word! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, co-workers! The more the merrier! We hate to disappoint everyone but, due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict at the Polish Club, we will be unable to host our weekly dance next week, April 2, 2009!We’ll be back the week after, chalk-full of fresh, new dances learned at the annual Line Dance Showdown in nearby Framingham, MA! You’ve heard this before, you’ll hear it again! This is a fantastic event for everyone! Line Dance Workshops all day, All-Request Dancing All Night! Variety Shows, Classic and Choreography Competitions, Hundreds of your Line Dance friends from around the World, Memories to last a lifetime, and, of course, The Showdown itself! It doesn’t get any better then this folks and we don’t even have to get on an airplane, like so many of our friends! Go for the day, a night, or the whole weekend!!! More info at http://www.linedanceshowdown.comFinally, We’d like to share a story with everyone. It’s about a dancer named Minty McNeill Coyne (You can read her Story by Clicking Here). Dear Old Minty sure is an inspiration but, so are all of you! Minty is at the point in her life where she is displaying the epitomy of what it means to be a Dancer! Fortunately, we still have many more dances to look forward to. I can only hope that we will never take one of them for granted! After reading this story, we just wanted to thank everyone for being part of such an awesome community, The Community of Dance! Walk in Minty’s footsteps and keep her in your thoughts!

Don’t worry, this latest phenomenon will include a warming trend with considerable amounts perspiration! No, we still haven’t found that weather machine but, we do have a perfect remedy for your mid-winter blues! The Dance Collaborative is happy to welcome back the one and the only, Forty Arroyo!
